The Logan & Cove mattress comes with a 15-year, non-prorated warranty for the original purchaser of the mattress. Logan & Cove Mattress Performance

Motion Isolation

Like most hybrid mattresses, the Logan & Cove mattress offers good motion isolation that should prevent motion from transferring across the surface of the bed when one partner moves. The foam top layers absorb a lot of motion. The pocketed coil support base also prevents motion transfer. Since each coil is individually wrapped, the movement of one coil will not transfer through to other coils.

Edge Support

As with most other hybrid mattresses, the Logan & Cove offers good edge support. The Logan & Cove mattress features full perimeter edge support using Engineered Edge Support Foam. This foam wraps around the innerspring layer to provide extra reinforcement around the edges of the bed. With these reinforced edges, you should be able to sit or sleep close to the edge of the bed without the mattress compressing excessively and feeling unstable.

Heat Retention

The Logan & Cove mattress offers a variety of features that help dissipate heat, much like other hybrid mattresses on the market. The eucalyptus-derived fabric in the cover is breathable and wicks moisture. The silk-blend fill in the pillow top is temperature-regulating and breathable. Gel foam layers provide cooling and airflow. The pocketed coil support layer allows further airflow and heat dissipation. The Logan & Cove mattress should provide a sufficiently cool night’s sleep for most people.

Off-Gassing

Foam mattresses frequently have a slight odor from manufacturing and compression. While the odor is not harmful, they may be displeasing to those sensitive to smells. Like most other mattresses, the Logan & Cove mattress may have a slight initial odor. It should dissipate within 24 hours. You do not need to air out the mattress.

Support

The Logan & Cove mattress offers multiple layers designed to provide support and promote alignment.

The 1-inch layer of bio-foam in the center of the mattress is designed to prevent sleepers from sinking in too deeply. Additionally, the pocketed coil system is zoned to provide the right support where you need it most.

Conforming

Like most other hybrid and foam mattresses, the Logan & Cove mattress offers conforming that can provide the “hug” many sleepers enjoy.

The Logan & Cove mattress features a plush pillow top with a silk-blend fill for added comfort. Underneath the pillow top, ¾ inch of gel foam, ½ inch of bio-foam, and 1 inch of gel foam conform to your body to relieve pressure points.

Durability

While GoodMorning.com has a strong history, the Logan & Cove mattress is still relatively new to the market. Because of this, its long-term durability remains unclear. However, the quality materials should give the mattress reasonable longevity. Since the 15-year warranty protects against defects in manufacturing and materials, there is also recourse available if the Logan & Cove mattress doesn’t hold up as well as expected.

Sex

Like other hybrid mattresses on the market, the Logan & Cove mattress’s innerspring layer provides bounce, which can be beneficial for sexual activity. Additionally, the Logan & Cove’s foam provides the feel of memory foam without excessive sink. This can make the mattress easier to move around on top of than many other mattresses.

Noise

Foam mattresses and hybrid mattresses with thick layers of foam generally produce very little noise. This is because foam absorbs motion. Since the Logan & Cove mattress features several layers of foam, it is also exceptionally quiet. Even if motion is transferred to the innerspring base, the mattress still shouldn’t produce much sound because the coils are individually wrapped.

What Type of Sleeper is Well-Suited to a Logan & Cove Mattress?

Side Sleepers: Side sleepers often prefer mattresses that are soft enough to allow wide parts like the hips and shoulders to sink in, reducing pressure points and promoting better alignment. The Logan & Cove’s ¾ inch of gel foam, ½ inch of bio-foam, and 1 inch of gel foam can conform to the body to provide pressure relief for side sleepers. However, side sleepers under 130 pounds may benefit from the Medium Plush option, while sleepers over 230 pounds may need the extra support of the Luxury Firm option.

Back Sleepers: Back sleepers usually benefit from consistent support from an even mattress that doesn’t sag. The Logan & Cove’s thick foam layers and innerspring base can provide the necessary support. Since back sleepers often prefer a medium-firm mattress, the Luxury Firm may be the best option for most back sleepers considering a Logan & Cove mattress. However, sleepers under 130 pounds may prefer the Medium Plush.

Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleepers need support that prevents the midsection from sinking in too deeply, which could lead to aches and pains. The Logan & Cove’s zoned coil system provides support where it is needed most, making it a decent mattress for stomach sleepers. However, the Luxury Firm option will likely be too firm for stomach sleepers under 130 pounds.
